Ready, Set, Show!!!
I’ve found that many sellers aren’t sure what fixes are important and which ones aren’t. Many homebuyers consider the home’s location, schools, and distance from their workplace during their initial search (usually online). , But that only gets them to your door. The rest is up to you.
Once they’re in your home, they’re thinking of how well you’ve cared for the place.
Questions like “Is this a structurally sound home for my family?”, “Is that crack hiding a major problem?”, and “How good is the roof?” race through their mind. If they don’t feel at ease about the structural (mostly unseen) components of your home, they’ll have a hard time imagining putting their family into the home as their own.
We have a checklist we share with sellers to help them manage their home’s appearance, in all seasons.
